RGM LEEDS LTD T/A HOPKINS SPARES RETURNS POLICy
All Returns
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any items that are to be returned to Hopkins from the customers are sent back and received within 14 days of delivery, this applies to all goods, including equipment and spares.
Damaged items
Any items which have sustained damaged must be reported within two working days of receipt of the items. The item(s) must then be returned to Hopkins within seven working days from delivery for inspection by our technical department.
Parts incorrectly supplied by RGM LEEDS ltd
At the time of order, the customer must supply the following details
- The make of the equipment
- Type of equipment
- Model number
- Serial number
In order to substantiate a claim against spares incorrectly supplied by RGM Leeds Ltd , the customer must provide the following details: the make, model and serial no. of the equipment. If this information is not available we may assume the item was incorrectly ordered by the customer and our restocking charge will be applied.
Parts incorrectly ordered, or no longer required
- All special or bespoke items purchased are NONE RETURNABLE.
- A restocking charge of 20% will be made on ALL goods returned to RGM Leeds Ltd
- No credit will be given for delivery charges to the customer, nor for any costs incurred returning the parts to RGM Leeds LTD.
Faulty parts
Warranty on parts is subject to the supplier’s discretion. Any faulty parts must be reported to RGM Leeds Ltd within 6 months of delivery. A report must be included from the engineer or customer stating the nature of the fault. The warranty will be declared invalid for any parts which are not installed by a suitably qualified engineer.
Any replacement goods will be charged for in full and a credit raised on return and testing of the parts.
Credit notes
ALL credit notes must be authorised and signed by the line manager prior to it being taken to the accounts office for processing
