Suitable for the Hopkins HC1 and IMC PC1 stop button. Round button, easy press.
Please note that the start button only works with the contact block below, G30/104, and not the old style white contact blocks. Unfortunately the old style buttons are now obsolete and will need both a new style button and contact block.

Is the stop button easy to fit?
Yes, it is quite easy to fit. Make sure the chipper is isolated from the electrical supply. Remove the base. You then need to release the contact block from the button. Undo the plastic nut behind the button and this will free it. Just reverse the instructions to fit.
Do I need to buy anything else besides the button?

My machine isn’t working, will it be the button that is a fault?
It is possible but not probable. There are several things that could be causing the trouble for the chipper. If the button is not sticking it will probably something else and you may need specialist help to identify the fault. Always check the fuse and power supply first. If that isn’t the problem it could be the contact block behind the button causing the problem. A reed switch could have failed or the PC board.
My button is sticking, is there any thing I can do?
Yes, it would be worth taking the button out and using a form of lubricant to see if that improves it.
My stop – start button has stopped working, can I by pass it?
No, if you were to by pass it you would also be bypassing all the safety devices on the chipper placed there to save the operator from harm.
