Is there a lid available for the tub?
We do not recommend using a lid as it can cause combustion of the scraps.
Is the scrap tub easy to use?
Yes, it is very easy to use. Just place your scraps in the tub and allow as much excess fat to drain off as possible. The excess fat will be collected in the lower tray. When cold dispose of the scraps in your usual manner. The fat collected can be cleaned and re-used.
What are the advantages of using a scrap tub?
By allowing your waste batter scraps to drain their fat away it reduces the risk of combustion and fire. It also allows you to reuse the fat that drains into the lower tray.
Is the scrap tub easy to move around the shop?
Yes, because it is built on castors it will wheel around your premises easily. The top section has handles for easy lifting.
What is the best way to clean the tub?
Scrape any excess fat away, afterwards use hot soapy water as this is the best way to clean the tanks.
