This tank is cylindrical.
The overall weight is only eight kilograms. The inner tank only weighs 3.4 Kilograms for ease of use.
Feed your waste pipe from your potato peeler into the interceptor tank. The inner tank has slim drainage holes which allows water to pass through but collects the thicker waste from your peelings. When full the inner tank removes easily for you to dispose of the thicker waste away from the drainage system.
Is this tank easy to use?
Yes, it is very simple to use. Just place the tank near your potato peeler. Use the waste pipe from your peeler and place it in the top of the interceptor. You may have to cut your existing waste pipe shorter to enable a good fit into the tank. Peel your potatoes as normal. The waste product will drop into the inner tank. The water and thinner waste will pass through the cut out slots and out through the drain hole at the bottom of the tank. Every so often the inner tank will require emptying as the thicker waste builds up.
Is the tank easy to clean?
Yes with its stainless steel construction it is easy just to rinse down with a hose pipe. The inner tank simply lifts out to be able to wash down with a hose.
What is the best way to dispose of the waste product?
We would empty the inner tank products into something like one of the empty potato sacks and place in your commercial waste bin.
