RC14 chip block
14mm Knife block fits RC12 and RC14
This is suitable for the Electrolux Crypto chippers.
The RC14 block is manufactured with the small slicing blades cast into the main block. If one of these breaks you need to replace the complete block as it is impossible to change the smaller blades with this model.
The block is manufactured with a stainless steel top and die cast aluminium centre, with the small slice blades fixed into the casting. The main slice blade is fixed to the casting.
One of the main problems with the RC14 chipper is the fact that if you are unlucky enough to break a small blade you have to change the entire block. With other manufacturers you can either change the blades individually or with a knife pack. Unfortunately every time a blade breaks on this block it leaves you with a large out lay. Maybe it is time to consider a chipper with a more cost effective way of fitting replacement blades. All machines will eventually need to replace their blades as they lose their sharpness.

Will this block fit any other machine?
The only machine this block fits is the Electrolux Crypto RC12 and RC14
Do I need to buy anything else with this block?
No, the block is a like for like swap for your original one.
Can I get a bigger size than 14mm for this machine?
No, unlike other manufacturers the 14mm x 14mm chip block is the largest size available for the Crypto RC14
Do you stock any other parts for the RC14?
We don’t keep many parts in stock for this chipper. We do normally have the belt in stock.
Is the block easy to fit?
Yes, it is as simple as taking the existing one out and new one in.
